Bible Study and Christian Book for Christian Men and Women ~ I Am a Tetrahedron, Part 5
Psalms 139:16 "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."
The other two words were:
These are built-in features, put there by our Creator.
It is my understanding that a newborn only fears two things - falling and loud noises. I do not know how scientists have determined that. I know know that if you take a crying newborn and snuggle them securely inside a blanket, they calm down. They must feel secure.
In an area where hunger was rampart, missionaries discovered when they founded an orphanage, that most of the children cried at night and could not sleep. One night, one of the missionaries was led of the Lord to give each child a piece of bread to hold before they put to bed. Each child, secure in the fact that they had something to eat the next morning went straight to sleep and rested - for the first time in a very long time.
Yes, God built in us the need for security.
And then there is purpose. When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them a purpose - that of tending the garden of Eden.
Knowing that you indeed have a purpose and then discovering what that purpose is one facet of that tetrahedron (pyramid shaped box).
I have below a pattern from Júlio Reis on Wikipedia of a tetrahedron. I have added words to each side or facet. I've also added a heart and a Bible. You can print this off and cut all the pieces out. Put the Bible inside the heart before you tape the heart together. Fold the tetrahedron on the solid lines to form the pyramid. Then put heart inside the tetrahedron and tape the points together.
Notice that you can have 3 sides of the tetrahedron and it looks complete - but also, regardless of how you turn it, there is one side missing. Also notice, that 3 points (corners or apexes) do not make a complete figure. No, it takes all four sides to make a whole:
Also, notice that each side or facet equally touches the other three, regardless of which of the four you are looking at. As you discover those four elements in the Word of God and put them in your heart, you will discover that The One Who made you gave you all you need. But, He wants us to built His Sanctuary for His Glory and we have to do it with His Word. Put His Word in your heart.
2 Chronicles 32:8 "With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah."
Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am!
