Bible Study for Christian Men and Christian Women ~ I Am Still, Part 5
Psalms 46:10-11 " Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." "Be still" and "selah" on the out side of our sandwich. Knowing God - really being still and knowing Him, not about Him, but knowing Him. Then covered with praise and exaltation to Him as a form of worship. Now what? Verse 11 tells us "The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge." Who is with us? Who is our refuge? When Moses asked God who shall I say sent me, God simply answered "Tell them 'I AM'." (Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.") Who is He Who would dare say "I AM"? Take your Bible and find every reference to "I AM". Read them, write them on index cards and then mediate on them. In short, selah - pause and think about it. In short, be still and fall so deeply in love with God that your heart is full and overflowing with Him. Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am!
