Bible Study for Ministry, Christian Women, and The Pastor's Wife ~ I Am a Tetrahedron, Part 1
Ephesians 3:17-18 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height."
We have a seven pound chihuahua named Big Dawg. If there is a lap around, he tends to find it fall asleep. Sometimes he has lively dreams. You can see and feel his rapid eye movement. When he barks in his sleep he sounds like a little squeaky toy. And when he's chasing something in his sleep, all four of his legs are full of movement - I am so glad God put a "governor" in his system that keeps him from actually going somewhere in his sleep.
Whether he remembers those dreams when he wakes up or not, I am clueless.
I know I dream, too. I don't think I bark, but I may talk some. I don't think I chase anything either, but have been known, particularly as a child, to walk in my sleep. Sometimes, if I wake up dreaming, I will remember the dream in great detail; sometimes I won't remember anything at all.
Some years ago, I had a very vivid dream. So vivid that I wrote it down in my Bible. So vivid that I shared it with my wonderful-prayer-partner-next-door-neighbor that evening. Her husband was out of town and mine was working a late shift.
I dreamed of a very exquisite, ornate, very detailed pyramid shaped box. The typical pyramid has a base that is square shaped. This box had a base that was a triangle. As a matter of fact, all four sides were equilateral triangles. It didn't matter which point (corner or apex) was up or which side was up. It was always the same size and same shape.
Mathematicians would call that particular shape a tetrahedron.
Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am!
