Bible Study for Ministry, Christian Women, and The Pastor's Wife ~ I Am in His Presence, Part 9
Psalms 16: 11 "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
A couple of questions remain - where is the location called "at Thy right hand" and how do I get there?
Let's just quickly go straight to what God says about that in His Love Letter, The Bible, to us.
During the mockery of the trial of Jesus, Jesus makes an incredible statement and answers a question. Luke 22:69-70 "Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am."
That is repeated in Mark 14:62. "And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."
We are told where Jesus is now in Mark 16:19 "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."
Hebrews 10:12 again repeats it. "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God."
When Stephen was stoned, Stephen tells what he saw in Acts 7:56 "And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."
Let's see what Romans 8:34 says. "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."
Can we ignore Ephesians 1:20? "Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places."
If we were having a live Bible class, we would also read all of Hebrews 1, which talks about Jesus Christ. For sake of time and space, we will only mention verse 13. " But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?"
1 Peter 3:22 "Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him."
There are more references to where Jesus is - He is unquestionably at the right hand of The Father.

Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am!
