I Am In The Throne Room, Part 1
Remember doing math problems where if a + b + c = d, then you knew that a, b, and c are parts (components) of d? That is what I am reminded of in saying I Am In The Throne Room. There are a number of verses (components) that cause me to understand that I really am in THE Throne Room (not simply a throne room, but THE Throne Room) and, it is a fight for me to remember that sometimes. Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." I don't know how your mother called you in when you were playing or hanging out with your friends, but my mama had a whistle, a plastic whistle. We kids had better be within earshot and at the-three-long-blasts-summon, we better show up. If we "didn't hear" the first three-long-blasts-summon, and mama blew it again, we knew we had a different mama than we would have had had we just heeded the first roll call. The truth is, as kids, we were called. We were told to come. God invites us to come - or is it really a command and not just a suggestion or invitation we can turn down as we wish? Trust me, mama's three-long-blasts-summon was NOT a simple invitation. The definition of come from Merriam-Webster online dictionary: a : to move toward something, approach b : to move or journey to a vicinity with a specified purpose We may have been in the barn, on Mr. Mackey's mule, picking berries in the field, or hanging out with neighbor kids, but mama wanted us where she was. "Come, join Me in The Throne Room," God said. He's waiting. In the next post on I Am In The Throne Room, we will see the methodology. Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am!
