God has directed me to write a Christian work of fiction regarding the civil war. The title (which may change) ~ The Unknown Soldier. Right at this moment, I will continue with the Bible Study for Christian Women and Pastors Wives Who I Am in Christ weekdays, and do The Unknown Soldier weekends. As always, each post will be saved in the archives. Here is your chance to comment on a novel as it is literally being written. I look forward to this fun time together with you and your friends! LLC
The Unknown Soldier ~ 1 I am an unknown Confederate soldier buried very close to the marker that belongs to Douglas in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Confederate Section) in Vicksburg. Mississippi. But I was not unknown to my family and friends, God, nor to The 43rd Mississippi Regiment until that fateful day during The Campaign of Vicksburg, 1863, when the same sniper from The 31st Illinois Regiment that took out Douglas took me out. I saw him through my looking glass just before I died. Here is my story, written in a diary using powdered ink.
Be blessed in The Name above every name, Jesus! I know I am! Linda L Culbreth
Linda L Culbreth was a pastor's wife and is a Bible teacher and writer. She and her husband were attacked by the imps of hell and nearly lost their marriage - several times. This is not the story of the journey back -but rather the new assignment God has given regarding Marriage Recall: Teamwork, the assignment God has given.
